Ice storm warning. With a lot of ice that has already fallen today the trees and powerlines are already under some stress. As it keeps falling they will only become weaker and break. We expect alot of tree damage and possibly a big hit to the power grid. Make sure you have your cellphones charged up and have candles ready just in case we lose power. Tonight we expect freezing drizzle heavy at times. The next very heavy round will impact the area around 6:30 or 7 in the mornin...g and it’s expected to be heavy. A lot depends on the temperature so let’s just hope and pray we don’t stay around 29 degrees tomorrow or we could be looking at a 2007 type situation. If you see a powerline down please stay away from it and watch for falling trees. If you see a line Arcing and Is on fire please call 911 and we will respond. Be safe and we will get through this. Fire Prevention Week 2020. Agra Firefighters giving the Agra Elementary 3yr olds, Pre-K, K, 1st, & 2nd grade students fire safety lessons. Special thank you to ...Cushing Fire for bringing down and setting up the Fire Safety House. Thank you Agra Public Schools for allowing us to stop by. We appreciate all the teachers, staff and administrators that assisted us and allowed us to make this happen. And lastly our community, we cannot express enough how much we appreciate you for supporting the Agra Firefighters Association. Our communities support and donations allowed us to purchase NFPA Fire Safety Information and other goodies for the students. The information and goodie bags will hopefully help spread awareness and fire safety tips these students learned throughout our community. See more

This morning Agra Firefighters Michael Callanan and Jarrod Molloy joined Cushing fire department in the 911 memorial stair climb in honor of the 343 firefighters who lost their lives on September 11 2001. Due to covid this year we had to do it outside of the normal climb that normally happens in Oklahoma City. Proud of everyone who made the climb this year
