I cannot emphasise the words SELF CONTROL enough. It's been my experience that potententially very good pups have been ruined by inexperienced handlers. Bad temper, lack of bonding and lack of opportunity with stock will handicap even the best of breeding. Over chastising a pup when starting will put back it's progress by a considerable amount of time. Remember the ART of training is CONTINUAL BONDING, WORKING A LITTLE and OFTEN in the cool of the day. |
