Painful, beautiful tribute to two fallen firefighters in Waynoka today. The firefighters and two others were killed in a house fire early Friday morning. My heart goes out to their families.

Waynoka, OK Chief Bolar and Firefighter Bradford died in a ho...use fire trying to save two residents of the home, who also were killed in the blaze. According to Oklahoma State Fire Marshal’s Office, the fire was reported at 3:07 a.m. by the residents, who said the house was on fire and they were stuck in the bedroom. Waynoka Fire Department arrived on the scene at 3:16 a.m. and reported fire was blocking the door. Firefighters were unable to reach the residents through the window, the release said. The roof of the home collapsed, trapping the firefighters, who were looking for family members inside. since before i was born i have gotten the privilege of being apart of the fire family. today we say goodbye to our second home. i have loved every minute of bei...ng a firefighter’s daughter. i am forever thankful to have been surround by such an amazing group of men growing up. dad, you will always be my hero. enjoy your retirement old man. thank you for your service.
