Freedom FFA

Update. The picture frame for the American Legion Documents is more than half way finished. Thank you members for all your hard work.

On Tuesday, member Levi Weber, Jaci Weber, Ariana White and Kaitlynn Rhodes competed in a livestock judging competition at OPSU. The members were individually placed as Kaitlynn 31st, Ariana 52nd, Jaci 68th and Levi 81st. We are so proud of all of them they did a wonderful job.

As a community project the FFA and FCCLA worked together in painting pallets to place around Freedom, as a townwide beautification project. We were asked to help by Valarie Brown Post Commander of Freedom's American Legion. The two organizations ended up painting a total of 10 pallets. Some are placed at The Store, The Museum, The Town Bank, and Darci Immel's (Advisor of the FCCLA ) front yard. We hope everyone enjoys the pallets and feel free to tell us which pallet is your favorite.

The FFA was asked to build a special frame for some historical documents. The kids got to get their hands on some very cool documents, and learn a lot of history about our small town. They got to brainstorm some designs, and are excited to work with the American Legion on building the frame.

Reminder!!! Tomorrow Wednesday the 2nd is picture day. All members need to bring official dress. We have FFA jackets for you to borrow if you don't have one. We will have scarfs ties and pantyhose. Male Members need black slacks, black shoes white button down and jacket. Female Members need black skirt ( we have a few if needed) black pantyhose black flats white button down, FFA Jacket. Officers bring your polo and nice jeans.
