There’s always so much I want to share about what happens at Taco Tuesday. But it’s just too much. I can hardly believe it was 4 years ago when I first went downtown by myself with apple muffins and water bottles on a quest to find homeless people and hear their stories. Last night 2 different men approached Mark, Pastor, I don’t come here every week for the food. I come to hear the word.... Last night I met A, who shared with us that he got frostbite and lost all 10 of his toes. Wait. Really think about that. He came up for prayer in his wheel chair. Mark asked him what he wanted. I figured he’d want his toes back and want to walk. But he said, I want to LIVE. I had a dream a few years back and the glory of God rolled down out of the sky into downtown Tulsa. The streets were filled with people from all walks of life. Yes, the homeless but all other sorts of people. I want A to be there when this happens. And I believe in that moment he will get 10 new toes.

This is M. We met him almost 4 years ago. When we first encountered him he was angry at God because of bad things that happened in his life. From the time we first met, he had a golf ball sized cyst on his cheek. About 8 months ago Mike and Shirley prayed for him at Taco Tuesday about a situation he was going through and when they got home that night they prayed for him again. This time they prayed that the cyst would disappear and be a sign to M of how much God loves him. Shirley documented it in her phone. Well, tonight M walked up with a huge smile on his face. The cyst is almost completely gone!!! We all hugged him and loved on him. We all told him, Look at how much God loves you! He was beaming. He is learning to receive our love and God’s love!!!
