The Bernice Nature Center is looking for summer volunteer help! We are looking for self motivated assistance with various items around the center including, but not limited to... * Gardening * Litter Pick-Up ... * General Upkeep of the Nature Center * Assisting with Animal Care * AND MORE! All volunteers will have to fill out a volunteer application and all adult volunteers will have to be able to pass a background check. We ask that volunteers commit to volunteering once a week to 4 times per month at minimum. Any volunteers age 15 and younger will have to be accompanied by a guardian while volunteering and also have a volunteer form filled out. Feel free to contact Mrs. Amanda with any questions at 918-257-8330 or by messaging this page!

If you haven't booked your summer camping adventure...you might want to check into booking your RV site ASAP! Especially if you are looking at reserving a specific RV site! I am currently looking over our reservations for this summer and folks....it's shaping up to be a busy one! At this very moment we have no RV availability for Memorial Day Weekend, limited RV availability for the Fourth of July weekend, and almost half of the RV sites are booked for Labor Day Weekend!!! **... For those of you dreaming of a lakeside stay on RV014 it is available April 23-24 and then not again on a weekend until August 13-15 or after. (There is weekday availability for this site, weekends just go quickly for RV014.) **TENT CAMPERS* We have plenty of availabilities for the summer holiday weekends, but tent sites near the Nature Center (21-29) go quicker then tent sites 1-20.

Don't forget that our Easter Egg Hunt is tomorrow at 1:00pm on the dot! We will have Peter Cottontail, Park Pal, Bernice & Monkey Island Fire Departments, Bernice Police Department, and our Park Rangers here, so make sure to say hi to each of them while you are enjoying the event! You will want to make sure you arrive early enough to park and walk up to the Nature Center as the road around the Nature Center will be closed to traffic. If you are handicap and need a closer parking spot, enter at the south side of the building where staff while allow special entrance to the building.
