#twinning with my 11 yr old while we claim some much needed quality time with one another. He wears a sz 2 and I wear a 3.5 A revelation...... It won’t be long until my feet are the smallest in my house My days are getting longer...... again. Friday was a 13-hour workday (minus the time I took to grab a pizza for dinner because I didn’t have time to cook). I’m not complaining about the work. I love what I do and I’m grateful for the steady influx of new projects, but that gratitude is rivaled by guilt. Whether it’s work, family, or the trap of comparison, consumed arrives uninvited. It takes on the characteristics of a best friend, walking in without knocking. We don’t turn it away because It’s disguised as a blessing but then.... It’s entitled, needy and EXHAUSTING (blessings are not supposed to be needy and exhausting unless they are newborns). This season of life usually catches me off guard though I’m not sure why because it happens at some point every single year. Anybody have a rug by their kitchen sink? We have wood floors in the kitchen so I have a rug by the sink/dishwasher but my pup Kenzo runs circles around our island like he’s in the dang #daytona500 so the rug has perma-wrinkle We ordered an @spicherandco floor mat for a commercial project and it arrived today.
