Besides the disinfecting done by firefighters each day, Norman Regional has been disinfecting Noble’s ambulances that transport to their facility for months. We thank you Norman Regional and EMSTAT.

The City of Noble is accepting applications for a fulltime position of Firefighter/EMT. Applicant must be at least 18 years of age and possess a current valid Oklahoma driver’s license, high school diploma or equivalent. Successful candidates will need to pass the Oklahoma State Firefighters Pension physical agility test, a written exam and be able to pass a background check. Applications are available to be picked up at Noble City Hall, 304 S Main Street in Noble, Oklahoma between the hours of 8:30 am 4:30 pm or download at cityofnoble.org. Completed applications should be returned to the lobby of Noble City Hall before November 15, 2019 at 4:30 P.M. The City of Noble is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

A busy day for firefighters so far today. Numerous EMS calls, an injury accident at 60th and Cemetery, a vehicle fire, and a gas leak on Bent Tree that resulted in several homes being evacuated due to the gas levels underground in the front yards of the homes.

VIDEO: Injury MVC with Entrapment (Norman) Dispatch time: 10/13/19 12:52PM Description: Norman Firefighters, Norman EMSStat, and Norman Police were dispatched ...to a motor vehicle accident with injuries at Highway 77 in front of Buffalo Wild Wings in South Norman. Callers reported one patient was unable to exit their vehicle and required extrication. There were two patients that requested medical attention. Noble Fire was requested for mutual aid and responded with one additional ambulance to the scene. Units responded: Engine 3, EMSStat 30 (ambulance), Chief 303 (battalion chief), EMSStat 93 (supervisor), Squad 7 (for extrication but disregarded), Noble Fire Squad 2 (mutual aid ambulance)

Firefighters responded to a structure fire this evening. The first firefighters were on scene within 2 minutes to find a basement fire with flames visible through two ground level windows. The fire was extinguished and contained to the basement and stairwell.
