For the first time Broken Arrow experience a true Ca...llejonada just like in Guanajuato, Zacatecas and other parts of Mexico. The Festival was Presented by Supermercados Morelos and sponsored by Sooner Millworks & Renovations LLC, Vanessa Moctezuma, Moctezuma & Associates at McGraw Realtors, Los Mariachis Broken Arrow, TTCU Federal Credit Union East side and Ascension St. John. Come to the City of Broken Arrow - Municipality to 5 de Mayo Fiesta and experience a Mexican tradition. A Callejoneada could be called a walking serenade. Ca...llejon is the Spanish word for a small street or alleyway, and a callejoneada is a musical tour led by a local minstrel group of musicians such as Mariachis or Banda through the many small alleyways of Guanajuato and other cities in Mexico. Enjoy for the first time in Broken Arrow’s Rose District an authentic Callejonada with Tamborazo El Bravo, members of Ballet Folklorico Sol Azteca and of course you, the community. Saturday May 8th at 2 pm after the opening ceremonies. See more
