Perfect start to the spring season. With the long wet winter it has been hard to ride even inside. So my girls stepped up and did a wonderful job with their horses. What a nice day! Always room for improvement but a good start.

After days of rain and miserable weather the sun came out for the Southern Hills Event that was held last Sunday. It was a beautiful day but the ground was like to KY Derby. My students rode well. Jada and Ashley who are new to the sport had a blast and can't wait to do it again. Jada rode the seasoned "I Am A Lucky Proposal" to win her division. Ashley riding "Be My Beau" ended up second. Melissa with her two horse won both their divisions with lovely rides on both horses. Cassondra rode 3 and had a very long day. She rode her "Mr Sam I Am" to a second place, Jax or Better to a win and her pony project to a second place. Good times were had by all.

A long day but well worth it and a stop at Dairy Queen is always a highlight

Wonderful weekend with nice horses and wonderful students. So proud of all of them
Want to give a shout out to all my wonderful students for a job well done last season. At the Oklahoma Eventing Circuit awards banquet they had a great run. To start Ashley Bennett and her mount Be My Beau won the Hi Point Training award. Next came Melissa Rickman riding her big guy Charlie winning the Hi Point Novice division and Charlie’s stable mate Malachi won the Champion award for the Beginner Novice division. Abby Staab and her gelding Henry the Eighth were Reserve Novice winners to Melissa and Charlie. Aurelia Jesse and her mount Saylamalucky Proposal were awarded Reserve Champion for the Beginner Novice division. Ester Cobb ended placing third over all in the Beginner Novice riding her beloved "Clifford" The overall Champion of the circuit was Melissa winning a lovely new bridle. So proud of all of you.
